TERMS OF SERVICE

Rules and conditions for using Moderation Fans.

Last updated: July 21, 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By adding Moderation Fans to your Discord server, using its commands, or accessing this website, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please remove the Bot from your server and stop using the website.

2. Eligibility

You must comply with Discord's Terms of Service and be of the minimum age required by Discord in your jurisdiction to use this Bot. Servers that violate Discord's Community Guidelines are not permitted to use Moderation Fans.

3. Permitted Use

Moderation Fans is provided to help server administrators and staff moderate their communities. You agree to use it only for its intended purposes. Permitted uses include:

  • Issuing warnings, kicks, and bans as part of good-faith server moderation.
  • Using the economy, giveaway, and announcement systems to engage your community.
  • Opening support tickets through the modmail system in good faith.

4. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Abuse commands — spam slash commands or prefix commands to flood the Bot or Discord's API.
  • Exploit bugs — intentionally exploit glitches in the economy or any other system for unfair gain. Report bugs instead.
  • Misuse modmail — send spam, harassment, or abusive messages through the ticket/modmail system.
  • Automate interactions — use scripts or bots to automate commands such as /daily or /work.
  • Attempt to access data — attempt to access, scrape, or manipulate another user's economy balance, warnings, or tickets.
  • Use the Bot in violation of Discord's Terms of Service or applicable law.

5. Economy System

All coins, items, and balances in the Moderation Fans economy system are virtual only. They have no real-world monetary value and cannot be exchanged for real currency, goods, or services. We reserve the right to adjust, reset, or remove economy balances at any time without compensation.

6. Giveaways

Giveaways hosted through the Bot are organised solely by server staff. Moderation Fans is only a tool and bears no responsibility for prize fulfilment. Staff may cancel, modify, or reroll giveaways at their discretion.

7. Moderation & Staff Decisions

The Bot is a tool that assists human moderators — it does not make independent moderation decisions. Server staff who operate the Bot are responsible for ensuring its use complies with these terms and Discord's guidelines. Staff decisions made using Bot commands (warns, kicks, bans) are at the discretion of individual server staff.

8. Service Availability

Moderation Fans is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee continuous, uninterrupted, or error-free operation. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Bot or any feature at any time without notice.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to deny service to, or block from using the Bot, any user or server that violates these Terms or engages in abusive behaviour toward the Bot, its staff, or other users.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Moderation Fans and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Bot or this website.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service at any time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the Bot after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
