Frequently Asked Questions

Click the Add to Server button on the Home page, authorize the bot with the required permissions, and select your server. The bot is ready instantly — no extra setup needed for most features.
For full functionality the bot needs: Send Messages, Use Slash Commands, Kick Members, Ban Members, Moderate Members, Manage Messages, Manage Channels, and Read Message History. Inviting with Administrator covers all of these.
A staff member runs /modmail setup once. After that, any member can DM the bot and a private ticket channel is created automatically. Staff reply in that channel and replies are relayed back to the member via DM. Keep the StaffMail category and log channel visible only to the team, and give the bot permission to view and send messages there. Staff close tickets with the button in the channel.
These are Moderation Fans bot settings, not slash commands. Open the web dashboard and choose your server to configure welcome messages, the Verify button and its role, and autoroles. For role assignment to work, move the bot’s highest role above every role it needs to give in Server Settings → Roles.
No. The bot’s welcome message, Verify button, and autorole options are configured in the Moderation Fans dashboard. Discord’s native onboarding and Server Guide are separate Discord features; manage those in Discord’s server settings. Moderation Fans does not edit the native Server Guide.
Commands require the matching Discord permission:

• /warn add and /clearwarn — Moderate Members
• kick — Kick Members
• ban — Ban Members
• announce / rules / faq — Community Manager role or above
• economy-admin — Administrator or bot developer
Run /daily or -daily once every 24 hours. Consecutive days build a streak that multiplies your reward. Missing a day resets the streak, so check in daily!
Yes. Every command works with /slash format and -prefix format (e.g. /warn or -warn). Prefix command messages auto-delete after 1 second to keep channels clean.
Message counts reset automatically every Monday at midnight. You can view current counts any time with /stats or -stats.
Check the Status page to confirm the bot is online. If it shows offline, it may be restarting — try again in a few minutes. If the bot is online but not responding, make sure it has the right permissions in that channel.
